Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, a resolution has been approved to restructure the Board of Trustees of Zayed University. Chaired by Shamma Al Mazrui, Minister of Community Development, the board comprises esteemed individuals such as Rashid Saeed Al Ameri, Rima Al Mokarrab, Rabi’ Aboushaqra, Mira Omar Al Futtaim, Badr Abdulhamid Ja’far, and Dr Mona Jumaa Al Bahr.
Additionally, it includes ProfJohn Willan, Dr Mok Christian, Dina Al Sayed Al Hashemi, and a youth representative nominated by the General Secretariat of the UAE Cabinet. Tasked with aligning the university’s strategic approach with the national higher education strategy, the board will oversee the implementation of plans, propose developmental projects, and strive to enhance educational outcomes.
